Registration is open for the Religion News Association’s 2026 conference, taking place April 23–25, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. With just over two months to go until the event, journalists from across the country are invited to register for the premier annual gathering dedicated to the coverage of religion.
The 2026 conference will bring together reporters, editors, scholars, and other leaders in the field for three days of timely panels, practical workshops, and networking opportunities focused on the most consequential religion-related stories shaping politics, culture, health policy, technology, and global affairs today.
Programming will include sessions on artificial intelligence and ethics, faith and health policy, investigative reporting tools, immigration coverage, and more.
Atlanta provides a fitting backdrop for this year’s conference, with its rich religious landscape and role as a hub for journalism, public health, and civic leadership. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect informally with colleagues through receptions, special events, and optional outings.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available, offering organizations an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with journalists covering religion and to support the professional development of journalists across the country.
Full conference details and registration information are available here.
